Fashion education exists in almost every country, in many languages. Studying abroad adds questions on top of the usual ones.
Qualification levels are not the same everywhere
A bachelor’s degree may take three years in one country and four in another. A diploma may be a vocational award in one system and a higher-education award in another. Read the exact award and awarding body, and check how your home country treats it.
Language
Check the teaching language and the language requirement for admission. Official program titles are shown in the original language with an English explanation on our listings. Do not assume that a program is taught in English because the website has an English page.
Recognition
If you need the qualification recognised for work or further study, check the national register or the recognition body in the relevant country. Association membership is not accreditation, and we do not describe any award as recognised worldwide.
Visas and money
Student visa rules, work rights and proof of funds are set by governments and change. Use official immigration sources. Currencies are shown as published; this site does not convert them.
Studio practicalities
Check what equipment is provided, what you must bring, and whether materials are charged separately. See the guide on tuition and materials costs.
